The Interior Ministry says government is recruiting eligible eleven thousand (11,000) Ghanaians into the various security services as part of its commitment to enhance security, as well as, address unemployment challenges in the country.
The Ministry assured the general public that the recruitment will be based on merit.
“Applicants should be wary that the Ministry of the Interior does not receive applications on behalf of its Agencies. Applicants are also cautioned, however, to be wary of scammers who make demands on them for money ostensibly to help them in the recruitment process,” a statement by the Interior ministry signed by the Chief Director, Adelaide Anno-Kumi cautioned.
Some applicants were reportedly thronging the Ministry of the Interior in an attempt to submit their applications following the advertisements in the media for recruitment.
But the Interior Ministry in its statement noted applications were online and should be processed as directed in the adverts.
“The Ministry of the Interior wishes the prospective youth all the best of luck,” the statement read.
