NSBT global bound-Nduom

Story: Atta Kwaku Boadi

The celebrated businessman and founder of the Nduom School of Business and Technology (NSBT), has broken his silence on the future of the institution, confidently declaring that the school is firmly on a trajectory to achieve global recognition.

Addressing stakeholders, faculty, graduands and  students during the institution’s 3rd congregation and 5th matriculation ceremony in Elmina on Saturday, May 23, 2026, , Dr. Nduom outlined a bold, transformative vision that  would place  NSBT at the cutting edge of practical higher education in West Africa.

“The future is exceptionally bright for NSBT,” Dr. Nduom stated emphatically, dismissing any doubts about the institution’s long-term viability.

“We are not just building a school; we are establishing a global standard of excellence right here in Ghana.”

Central to this grand vision is a massive infrastructure and branding drive designed to elevate the university’s physical environment.

Dr. Nduom revealed that aggressive development plans were  already underway to ensure the school boasts one of the most modern, beautiful, and technologically advanced campuses in the country.

According to institutional insiders, the upcoming infrastructural expansion is modeled after world-class corporate universities.

The goal, Dr. Nduom noted, was simple yet incredibly ambitious: “The school will become the envy of all.”

Dr. Nduom maintained that NSBT’s true marketing power would  come from the caliber of its graduates.

“The results will drive the demand,” he explained, adding that the market value of NSBT alumni would naturally attract top-tier students from across the sub-region.

Perhaps the most electrifying announcement for the student body was how the shifting national financial landscape would directly benefit their academic training. With the highly anticipated return of GN Bank to active operations, NSBT is uniquely positioned to bridge the notorious gap between classroom theory and industry reality.

“The return of GN Bank gives immense hope to the school,” Dr. Nduom revealed, highlighting a groundbreaking partnership that will see a fully operational, live banking ecosystem utilized as a teaching laboratory.

Through this integration, students offering various business and technology programmes according to the business magnate would  not just read about financial systems in textbooks—they would study and experience practical banking firsthand on campus.

Earlier, the Rector of NSBT, Rev. Prof. Daniel Adjepong Nyarko noted that academic achievement was important for the successful development of young people in society.

To this end, he urged the graduating class not to play or toy with their educational pursuits even after leaving NSBT.

“Students who do well in school are better able to make the transition into adulthood and to achieve occupational and economic success”, he said.

For his part, the Deputy Director-General of Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), Prof. Augustine Ocloo who was at the event also urged the graduands to prioritise good attitude over everything as they leave school.

This, he said, was the only thing that could help them achieve success wherever they would find themselves.

In all 24 students graduated with degrees in Banking and finance, , Information and Communication Technology and Information Technology and Management.

Drift Boss is a basic but addicting racing/action game about drifting on a zigzag hanging road. Game objective: travel as far as possible without slipping off the road to score the most points.
