NPP targets 85% votes in Ashanti region

Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, The  running mate to New Patriotic Party (NPP)  presidential candidate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 elections, has announced the party’s ambitious goal to secure 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region during the December 7 elections.

At his official introduction in Kumasi, Dr. Opoku Prempeh emphasised the NPP’s commitment to achieving a significant victory in their stronghold. 

He called on Ghanaians to honour President Akufo-Addo’s leadership by supporting the NPP at the polls.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh highlighted that the NPP will launch a vigorous door-to-door campaign nationwide in preparation for the upcoming general elections.

He expressed confidence in the party’s strategies to mobilize support and secure a decisive win.

“We want 85% in the Ashanti region,” he said.

“Honour President Akufo-Addo and Bawumia by voting massively to win the 2024 elections, we will do house to house campaign,” he added.
