Amansan Television (ATV) presenter and a newscaster, Miss Kukua Snead-Michaels has called for more education on mental health issues .

As a co-host of  the Station’s morning show, ‘Anopa Bosuo’, Ms Snead-Michaels underscored the need for Ghanaians to regularly remind themselves of   some  mental health conditions like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia etc.

She wondered why some Ghanaians did  not want to accept the fact that, the young man who killed three children at Abesim in the Bono Region was  going through mental crisis which needed  to be checked, and  a solution found  rather than blaming spiritualties.

She made these observations on ATV whiles sharing her perspective on the recent ritual  killings in the country.

According to her, “it has not been established suspect eats human flesh or not  so concluding that he is a cannibal is neither here nor there.
