Former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is set to deliver a keynote address at the Nigerian Bar Association’s 64th Annual General Conference in Lagos on Monday, August 26.
The conference’s theme, “Pressing Forward – A National Posture for Rebuilding Nigeria,” aligns with Mahama’s advocacy for democratic governance, rule of law, and collaborative national development.
Mahama’s spokesperson, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, in a social media post [X] stated that the former president will stress the importance of accountability and leadership in governance.
Mahama will also engage with Nigerian legal practitioners on innovative solutions to the country’s pressing issues.
Mogtari stated, “Mahama left for Lagos shortly after the successful launch of the NDC’s 2024 manifesto, “Resetting Ghana—Jobs | Accountability | Prosperity,” on Saturday in Winneba.
“In his launch address, he stated, “… we are presenting you with a manifesto that will help you take back your future. We need a government that will galvanise the efforts of all Ghanaians, irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or partisan affiliation”.”
