Yussif Basigi Head Coach of Hasascas Ladies FC says he is ready to seal victory against any opponent in the semifinals stage of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Women’s Champions league ongoing in Cairo, Egypt.
The final round of Group B matches would be played on Friday, November 12, to determine which team faces the Ghanaian club in the last four stages.
Hasaacas Ladies, who have so far been impressive in the inaugural competition, topped Group A with seven points following wins over Malabo Kings, AS Mande, and a draw with the host team Wadi Degla.
Coach Basigi, after drawing 2-2 with the Egyptian team yesterday in a post-match interview said, “I have watched the teams in Group B played and I must say, they doing well, but we are planning towards our opponent and we are ready for any team to beat”.
On his game against Wadi Degla where Hasaacas Ladies came from behind to draw 2-2, he said, his team anticipated a tough match against a team who were searching for qualification to the next phase.
“I remember Wadi Degla coach told me the game against us will be a good game so we had to re-strategize our game. I also told my players not to be complacent because our opponent also have the opportunity to qualify.
“I respect the Egyptian team because they were very tactical but as a result of experience and determination from my team, we did well to draw.”
