Don’t come  to work-NEIP to staff

Story: News Desk

The management of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has directed all staff not to report to work starting Monday, February 24, 2025.

According to management, this is due to unresolved legal and administrative issues related to employment and salary payments.

This was contained in a press statement issued by NEIP on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Following extensive efforts to resolve concerns regarding staff employment, management has determined that the complexity and legal implications of these issues prevent the use of operational funds to pay monthly staff allowances.

As a result, it stated that all employment matters must go through the proper legal processes to avoid further complications.

The statement noted that until these issues were  fully addressed, only specific staff whose services are required may be called upon to resume work.

Additionally, all staff in possession of NEIP property are to return them to the HR Officer by close of work on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

“Failure to do so will be considered as deliberate stealing of such items,” the statement read.

Management has assured staff that updates will be provided as efforts continue to resolve the situation.

An organization is made of people, and any decision regarding personnel needs to be handled transparently and with a clear plan. NEIP’s request for all employees to take time off without a specific roadmap shows confusion in management. If Incredibox issue is related to employment contracts and compensation, the organization should have proactively sought a solution instead of imposing a sudden suspension, causing instability for employees.

The title about NEIP telling staff not to work is a bit jarring. Also, the PayPal casino part is relevant, as I’ve always preferred using it for online gaming.
