Conference of Heads of Basic Schools (COHBS) has congratulated Ghana’s president-elect, John Dramani Mahama on his resounding victory in the just ended presidential and parliamentary elections.
“Your emphatic win is a testament of the trust and confidence the people of Ghana have in your leadership”, COHBS in a statement to the media said.
The statement added: “We applaud your commitment to education and your vision for a brighter future for Ghana’s children. As educators, we recognize the crucial role education plays in shaping the nation’s future, and we are eager to collaborate with your government to advance the interests of basic schools”.
To this end, COHBS in the statement pledged their unflinching support for Mr Mahama to work with his government to create conducive learning environment, improve educational outcomes, and empower Ghana’s future leaders.
“We look forward to a fruitful partnership with your administration”, the statement said.
