Coconut Grove Regency Hotel appreciates workers at its annual dinner dance and awards night

The management of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel held its annual dinner dance and awards night on Friday, January 31, 2025 to honour its workers for their outstanding contributions to the growth of the company.

Coconut Grove Regency Hotel is a member of Groupe Nduom, a multinational conglomerate. 

Addressing the gathering, the President of Groupe Nduom Ghana, Dr Nana Kweku Nduom, appreciated the workers and management for their immense contributions to the success of the hotel and by extension the Groupe Nduom.

He was happy that the hotel had kept to its long-standing tradition of using made in Ghana goods for all its services. 

Dr  Kweku Nduom said, as part of the company’s primary agenda to promote  made in Ghana products, it would look for people who produce local soaps and other essentials to partner with.

For his part, the General Manager of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel  Ralph Aryeetey noted that reducing the importation of foreign goods would help shore up Ghanaian indigenous businesses.

Earlier, Minister for Creative Arts and Tourism, Dzifa Gomashie disclosed that tourism contributed  $3.5b  to the country’s GDP last year.

She also called on Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana goods .
