Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo has died.
He died on Friday, August 21, 2026, after a brief illness.
Until his death, he served as Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, where he played a key role in the association’s negotiations with government and other stakeholders on issues affecting public sector workers.
He was also actively involved in CLOGSAG’s industrial actions and engagements on labour-related matters, as well as efforts to advance the welfare and interests of the association’s members.
Dr Bampoe Addo further contributed to the development of CLOGSAG’s institutional policies and represented the association in discussions on public sector and labour issues.
His death is expected to be felt across Ghana’s organised labour and public sector community, given his role in key negotiations and engagements involving public sector workers.
