The delegation, led by Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif includes Chief Executive Officer, Richard Nsenkyire, Business Development Manager, Paul Anyaba and other officials.

“We will see what we can do to help. We must help, it’s a national assignment that you are undertaking, you are waving the flag of Ghana so we too have to do what we can to support you. Times are not the best as far as money is concerned. We will do our best to help.

“It’s been sometime since we had a winner on the continental tournament, perhaps you have the opportunity to be that but we must all support you”, the president said.

The reigning Ghana champions begin their journey in Africa against Cameroonian champions Victoria United on August 16 in the first round of the qualifiers for the group stages.
