Apaak Builds 32 bed Children’s ward

Member of Parliament (MP) for Builsa South constituency, Dr.Clement Apaak has  handed  over 32 bed children’s ward to his constituents.

The brief, but a colourful ceremony took place on Tuesday February 8, 2022.

Present at the handing over were the in charge of Fumbisi Health Centre, his supporting staff, the Fumbisi Chief and his divisional chiefs, party faithful and the general public.  

Speaking to the media, Communication Officer   of Builsa South Constituency Anthony A. Asikisimi   said  the accommodation for children in the Fumbisi Health Centre remains a major challenge in health care delivery in the Builsa South District. 

The handing over of the children’s ward he said,   was  therefore timely and would  go a long way to alleviate the sufferings of mothers whenever they were  admitted to the Fumbisi Health center. 

He noted  it offered  the medical staff the opportunity to properly care for patients on admission by administering to them the required drugs at the appropriate time. 

According to him, it was also gratifying to know that the children’s ward would  also go a long way to cater for the needs and services of our overseas counterparts   e.g Yagba, Kuboari, etc.

“Dr. Apaak has never relented in his efforts to support Builsa South with the basic needs particularly in education, which he supported with motor bikes for supervision, donated computers, furniture for schools, organization of mock exams for BECE candidates and distribution of mathematical sets among others”, mhe said. 

He added: “Dr. Apaak has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt that he has the people of Builsa South at heart by always providing the necessary support to alleviate the sufferings of the good people of Builsa South”.
