A member of Groupe Nduom media outlets, Ahomka FM, has been adjudged the 2023 most listened to radio station in the Central Region in the recent publication by Virtual PR, an independent communication and public relations entity.
The research was conducted as part of Virtual PR’s strategies to provide their clients the opportunity to choose or identify the most appropriate media outlet to promote a particular brand or product, identify top 5 radio stations in each region, their performance in social developmental programmes and the number of audience they have on Facebook.
The survey projected Ahomka FM as the most listened to radio station in the Central Region with ATL FM taking the second place, Radio Peace assuming the third position and Darling FM and Cape FM also coming fourth and fifth respectively.
In an interview with the manager of the radio station, he expressed his profound gratitude to the Board of Directors of Ahomka FM, staff and all other stakeholders for their amazing support and dedication in ensuring that the station maintains its credibility and quality especially, in the production of content.
Mr. Samuel Nana Effah Obeng also thanked the listeners of Ahomka FM for their immense support to the company in various ways.
Mr. Obeng noted that, having won the Liz Hughes International Awards in 2021 and other multiple regional awards over the period, he wasn’t surprised his outfit had once again chalked such a feat.
He said, the carefully designed content such as Ekuafo Ehyia, Asem Bi Safoa, She She, Me Ma Hom Akyi and the multiple events Ahomka FM organizes , were the reasons for their recognition in the Ghanaian media space.
To this end, he assured listeners of Ahomka FM of more innovative programmes so as to ensure that local enterprises could grab the opportunity it would offer them to add value to their services.
