GN Reinsurance adjudged 2024 CIIG Company of the Year 2024

GN Reinsurance, a Ghanaian owned indigenous reinsurance company has been adjudged the 2024 Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) company of the year.

GN Reinsurance is a member of the Groupe Nduom, a multinational conglomerate.   

In an interview with Today Newspaper, the Chief Executive Officer of GN Reinsurance, Mr Joseph Tieku who could not hide his excitement over the award attributed the success of the company to a dint of hard work and the commitment of his staff.

He also noted the immense  contributions of the shareholders of the company, particularly, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom and Mrs Yvonne Nduom to the success of his outfit.   

According to him, ⁠the award was based on the rigorous assessment undertaken by an awards panel, comprising seasoned professionals and experts from the various sectors of the insurance industry under the auspices the CIIG. 

⁠GN Reinsurance started operations in 2014. Ten years into its operations, it has proven to be the  best within the Ghanaian insurance market.

⁠As a B2B company that provides security for the risks carried by direct insurance companies both within and outside Ghana, GN Reinsurance  has exemplified itself with prompt lead time to offers, claims and general requests from its customers – licensed insurance companies. 

⁠GN Reinsurance, Today understands also provides technical support to its customers through daily engagements and market trainings using internationally recognized resources with rich experience in the subject area.

The company, the GN Reinsurance  CEO said,  had spearheaded initiatives such as the insurance and pensions research fund and the risk institute of Ghana with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry when it comes to insurance practice in Ghana.

”The company actively undertakes CSR through sponsorships in the areas of education and healthcare”, he said. 

The CIIG is the umbrella body of insurance professionals in Ghana.
