Ghana Hotels Association declares support for Coconut Grove Regency Hotel CEO, Ralph Ayitey for AGI presidency

The Ghana Hotels Association has declared support for Raphael (Ralph) Mawuenyega Kojo Ayitey, Chief Executive Officer  of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel for the position of President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) in the upcoming national elections.

Mr Ayitey, a seasoned leader with over two decades of dedicated service to AGI, has been hailed  for his collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven leadership style. 

His contributions to the hospitality industry and AGI, the Association noted in a statement   have been outstanding, with initiatives promoting local sourcing, job creation, youth empowerment, and sustainable industrial growth.

According to  Ghana Hotels Association  Mr Ayitey’s commitment to making AGI financially independent, delivering stronger secretariat performance, and creating wider market access for members as key reasons for their support .

To this end, The Ghana Hotels Association urge all members who are part of AGI to support and vote for Ayitey.

The election is scheduled to take place on November 27, 2025, during the AGI Annual General Meeting.
