It was a night of glitz, glamour, and profound gratitude as the Coconut Grove Regency  Hotel in Accra hosted  its  Annual Dinner  Dance and Awards Night. 

The event, held on Saturday, January 18, 2026 at the hotel, served as a celebratory tribute to the hardworking staff whose dedication has cemented the brand’s reputation as a leader in the hospitality industry.

The  evening brought together employees of the hotel and their families, shareholders, employees and managers of Groupe Nduom, Board of Directors,  industry players and customers  The atmosphere was charged with excitement as management paused to recognize those who went “above and beyond” during the past year.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards across several categories. From Front Desk to the prestigious Employee of the Year, the winners were met with standing ovations from their peers.

The President of Groupe Nduom Ghana, Dr Nana  Kweku  Nduom in his   address, emphasized that the success of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel  was  not just in its scenic views or luxury rooms, but in the  “human touch”  provided by the staff. 

“Our people are the heartbeat of this organization,”Dr Nana Kweku Nduom said . 

“Tonight is about saying thank you for the smiles you share and the memories you create for our guests”, he added. 

He urged the staff to continue to give out their best, and support the growth of Groupe Nduom which the hotel is part of it. 

Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Mr Ralph Ayitey, thanked the shareholders of the hotel, Dr papa Kwesi Nduom and Mrs Yvonne Nduom for always  providing support and guidance to them.

Mr Ayitey  also expressed his appreciation to the  heads  of  various departments of the hotel, staff, especially, the award winners for their dedication and commitment to the work.

Beyond the cash prizes  and citations, the event served as a vital team-building moment. 

The night concluded with a gala dance, where management and junior staff alike celebrated the collective achievements of the previous year. As the hospitality industry continues to evolve, Coconut Grove’s commitment to investing in and celebrating its workforce remains a cornerstone of its enduring legacy.
