The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, Most Rev. Prof. Johnson K. Asamoah-Gyadu has dedicated a new chapel for the Resurrection Methodist Church in Chicago in the United States of America (USA).
The acquisition of the new worship space was made possible through financing from GN Bank Chicago.
Bank leadership, including President and Chairman Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, Director Mrs. Yvonne Nduom, and Credit Manager Mr. Desmond Ampaw-Asiedu, attended the dedication ceremony which took place on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Over the past decade, GN Bank Chicago has actively supported the local Ghanaian community through businesses, churches, and associations.
As part of its community outreach, the bank also provides university scholarships to qualified high school students, awarding three scholarships this year.
GN Bank Chicago, formerly Illinois Service Federal Savings and Loan (ISF), is one of the few historically Black-owned financial institutions in the United States. It operates as a community-focused institution aiming to promote homeownership and economic development.
