AnigyeKrom back on ATV, premiered Feb. 1

Story: Kwesi Williams

For many families, Sunday afternoons  was their  enjoyable and  hilarious moment on Amansan Television (ATV)  when   “AnigyeKrom”, a family entertainment show  used to bring  laughter into their homes  .

Hosted by TV personality SokooHemaa, the family-oriented talk show had, for years, been a household name—until it suddenly went quiet.

Eight years ago, at the peak of its popularity, AnigyeKrom went into hibernation. Life moved on, children grew, routines changed, and Sundays felt a little emptier without SokooHemaa’s warm voice guiding heartfelt conversations. Many wondered if the show would ever return, or if it would simply live on in fond memories.

Then, in early 2026, the long  waiting ended  .

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, AnigyeKrom made a triumphant return, premiering once again on Amansan TV. As the clock struck 3:00 pm, families tuned in, some out of nostalgia, others out of curiosity. From 3 pm to 5 pm, every moment felt intentional—rich conversations, shared laughter, and reflections that reminded viewers why the show had been so deeply loved.

SokooHemaa, radiant and confident, welcomed viewers back as though no time had passed. Her words carried both gratitude and purpose, signaling not just a comeback, but a continuation of a legacy rooted in family values and community connection.

The premiere episode was nothing short of special. Celebrated TV personality Nii Noi brought wit and insight to the discussion, gospel artiste Kofi Peprah lifted spirits with his presence, and legendary musician Mzbel added depth and history to the moment. Together, they graced the show with stories that resonated across generations.

As the closing credits rolled, one thing was clear: AnigyeKrom was not just back—it was home. And every Sunday from 3 pm to 5 pm on Amansan TV, families once will have   a place to gather, reflect, and find joy together.
