His primary goal  is to  reposition the AGI as a “dynamic business organization” dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and driving economic prosperity for Ghana’s industrial sector.

Mr Ayitey’s  candidacy is built on a singular goal: to empower Ghanaian businesses to truly thrive.

“My vision is clear,” he said during an interview with Today . “We must reposition AGI as a dynamic force that actively empowers our businesses. We need to foster innovation, strengthen collaboration across all sectors, and ultimately deliver the economic prosperity essential for the growth and development of industry in Ghana.”

The Coconut Grove Regency Hotel CEO’s mandate,  he said,  was to address long-standing challenges facing the Ghanaian industrial base by focusing on several critical areas including  fostering Innovation,  introducing programs and partnerships aimed at integrating modern technology and innovative practices across member businesses to boost productivity and global competitiveness, creating robust platforms for networking and partnership, ensuring AGI acts as a cohesive voice and powerful lobby group for industry interests with government and international bodies and above all working closely with policymakers to ensure a favorable business environment.
