A 24-year-old Micro-Finance worker, Mrs Salomey Armah, has been adjudged the winner of the second vehicle as part of the MTN Mobile Money promo.
The award ceremony—which took place amidst pomp and pageantry—also saw Abuboafo Selorm and Mark Oteng each receiving a 65-inch Sumsumg Smart TV while Ernest Acquah and Augustine Afful took home 55-inch and 43-inch Smart TVs respectively.
Cash prize of Ghc3,000 was presented to Godwin Aboagye and Mohammed Abdulai respectively while Abraham Kwame, Dr Jeff Bassey and four others received Ghc2,000 each with Theophilus Kweku and two others also received Ghc 1,000 each.
Presenting the prizes, the Mobile Financial Manager at MTN, Mr Eli Hini, reiterated his outfit’s commitment to providing a level playing field by protecting everyone against fraudulent activities which have the tendency of making customers lose their monies.
He was, however, quick to add that security in terms of safe patronising the MoMo platform to drive home the needed gains and business growth was in three-fold.
He revealed that most hackers with much knowledge about his outfit’s clients may be those workers who have been sacked by the company, but assured that more was being done to address the situation.
He urged the younger generation to take advantage of the myriad services to invest into their future.
Soon to come, he revealed, were award schemes which will seek to appreciate agents, merchants as well as stakeholders.
“This is to say thank you to them for having faith in the service and lending their support in making the service promising.”
