Dufia of Hatsukope in the Viefe Tokor Electoral Area in the Ketu South Municipality, Torgbu Agbodo Pasaku IV, has petitioned government to extend pipe water from Denu St. Paul’s Senior High School to the Area to curb the water crisis.
Torgbui Pasaku in an interaction with the media, on Thursday said the Electoral Area which comprises of 5 communities with a population of about 5000 people lack the social amenity.
He stated that they had water supply from the school but the facility was disconnected by ECG due to the school’s inability to pay electricity bill of about ghc135000.
Dufia of Hatsukope further noted that they are in touch with the Municipal Assembly to have a separate meter for the area to enable them pump water to another reservoir which is also on the campus to satisfy them.
Torgbui Agbodo Pasaku therefore appealed to government, Member of Parliament, Municipal Chief Executive, Ketu South Municipal Assembly, NGOs and Philanthropists to come to their aid to help expand the water facility to the Area to facilitate portable water and to also curb water crisis in the area.
