A female student pastor at the Ramseyer Training Centre of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Abetifi in the Eastern Region tragically died on Sunday after she collapsed in the pulpit.
The deceased, Dinah Baah, as part of her training as a student pastor was scheduled to preach at the Liberty Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Nkawkaw, but after mounting the pulpit, greeting the congregation and introducing the theme, she suddenly collapsed even before she could start delivering the sermon.
She was then rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive.
The Public Relations Officer of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Rev. George Larbi, who confirmed the sad incident in an interview, said the death of Dinah has come as a shock to many as she, prior to her death, looked very health and showed no sign of ill health.
He added that Dinah Baah, a resident of North America who has studied Theology extensively abroad was to be commissioned as a Reverend Minister on August 5, 2018.
