Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr Sam Nartey George has hit hard at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his (Bawumia) failed digitization agenda.
According to him, the Dr. Bawumia has reduced his position as a vice President of Ghana to a minister of state due to the many lies he (Bawumia) has been telling about the state of Ghana’s economy and his so called digitization agenda.
The Ningo Prampram lawmaker who is also a member of Parliament Communication Committee explained that instead of Dr. Bawumia being the head of economic management team, the vice president is rather playing the role of the Communication’s minister, all in the name of digitization, which in actual sense has become a stillborn.
Speaking in an interview at Parliament in responding to the Vice President’s address made at the National Youth Day cerebration claiming that the introduction of digitisation of government businesses and institution had help turn around Ghana’s economy.
This claim the Ningo Prampram MP debunked and stated categorically that Ghanaians are not experiencing anything different from how things were, before the digitization agenda.
‘The vice president has failed on his mandate as the head of economic management team and on the issues of digitization as well.
The Ningo Prampram MP claim, the vice president has failed in almost every mandate handed to him to manage and also not being factual and consistence in his figures, facts and analysis especially on the digitization, interoperability and others.
