Armed robbers yesterday attacked the Adwumam D/A primary and Junior High School in the Upper Dankyira East Municipality of the Central Region.
They made away with 10 computers, teaching and learning materials and destroyed doors and valuables running into several thousands of Ghana cedis.
According to the Assistant head teacher of the school, Mr. Prince Kuma the attack had left both teachers and students in shock and utter fear, thereby threatening to stop teaching if security agencies fail to protect them.
He said the latest obbery incident was fifth one the school had witnessed in recent time.
“For the past one year all our learning materials have been stolen by the robbers,” he said.
He explained that the school authority has since reported the robbery incident to the Kyekyewere Police and called for maximum security protection from the police.
