The Ghana Football Association has offered a Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedi (GH¢ 30,000) reward to anyone who can provide concrete evidence of any act of bribery that takes place in the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The GPL has been plagued with several allegations of bribery and corruption in recent years, and the GFA hopes the reward package will help reduce the bribery cases.
GFA President shared the new initiative at a press conference with the media yesterday [Tuesday, March 20, 2018].
“We also think that it is important to enhance the integrity of our competitions,” said Nyantakyi
“We are offering prize money of 30,000 Ghana cedis to any whistle blower who has credible information of corrupt practises, bribery and related allegations.
“We are not relying on hear say but credible evidence that we can rely on, we will take it and give you 30,000 cedis free of charge.”
