In the wake of the partial lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic which is ravaging the world including Ghana.
The lockdown has brought most businesses to its knees which has it’s economic ramifications with the vulnerable and needy in the society worst hit.
In his bid to contribute his widows mite in helping to alleviate the suffering of the poor and vulnerable in his area, the National Democratic Congress’s Paliamentery Candidate (PC) for Adentan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan with the support of the Constituency Executive Committee on Thursday morning served breakfast to some needy and vulnerable in some part of the Constituency.
Some classes of people who benefited from the NDC Adentan PC’s kind gesture are:the inmates of the Adentan Police Station, the aged, the children at the Foster Home orphanage and some security officers on duty.
Some Assembly members of the various electoral areas in the Adentan Municipality were invited to help served the beneficiaries in their various juricdictions.
In a speech to herald the distribution of the breakfast, Mr Ramadan advised everybody to comply with the lockdown order by the president and called on the people to constantly use hand sanitizers where there is no water and soap, but wash their hands with soap under running water immediately when they get to where water is available.
He also recommended the good people of Adentan toobserve the social distancing protocol in order to fight the deadly virus .
