Prestea Endorses Nanaba One for Youth Organiser

Supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Prestea Huni-Valley District, Western Region, have called on eligible delegates in the area to vote massively for Youth Organiser aspirant, Mr. Jubel Kwaw.

Mr Jubel Kwaw, who is popularly referred to as Nanaba One, has been tipped by many NPP supporters in the Prestea Huni-Valley District to win the youth organiser slot position in the area.

The party in the area will tomorrow hold its constituency executive primaries.

And according to NPP supporters in Prestea, their background checks on Mr. Kwaw have indicated that voting for him [Mr Kwaw] to become the Youth Organiser would improve the fortunes of the party in the area, and especially in the 2020 general election.

Party faithful who made the call in in interview with Today said Mr. Kwaw, a BA Geography and Rural Development graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a son of influential Divisional Chief of Mease-Nsuta Traditional Area, has a workable vision with a human-centered idea of setting up  an “NPP polling station welfare fund.”

Meanwhile addressing delegates of Krutown Electoral Area in Prestea, Mr Kwaw, whose slogan-“Obia Bedidi”—has been embraced by party members, ‘placed GH¢ 40,000.00 on the table” as the seed money to kick-start the account should he be voted for as the youth organiser.

He said this idea was borrowed from his uncle, who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency, Mr. Mireku Duker, and that this amount would be used to kick-start ‘welfare,’ “if I am given the nod.’

He recounted several sad stories where NPP foot-soldiers had toiled so much to bring the party to power, but sadly are not catered for  when in distress.

According to him, polling station executives in each electoral area would handle the welfare fund.

Mr. Kwaw added that he would reach out to other prominent people in the district to convince them to donate to the fund so as to ensure its growth.

Present at the gathering was the Assembly member for Krutown, Hon. Emmanuel Enoor Kwesi Arthur, who was also contesting the Second Vice Chairman of the NPP in Prestea Huni-Valley.

The delegates of Krutown Electoral Area expressed profound thanks to Jubel Kwaw, for thinking about polling station executives and members and pledged to support him to win as the next youth organiser for the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency.

The election has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, 27th February, 2018 at Golden Hotel in Bogoso in the Prestea Huni-Valley District.
