Let’s celebrate Christmas with love

TOMORROW, December 25, 2018 is Christmas day.  An annual Christian festival marking Jesus Christ’s birth, and celebrated by billions across the globe.

IT is a festivity which sees billions of Christians across the world reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ, who came down to earth to die for our sins.

AS we mark this important event, we want to use this opportunity to encourage all Christian brothers and sisters to reflect upon the significance of the birth of Christ and its relevance to us as a people.

IT is imperative that we stay united in our quest to move our nation forward with love, hope and goodwill.

AND while we reflect on the values of Christmas, Today urges all of us to foster the bonds of friendship and work even harder towards building a more prosperous Ghana in which together we surmount our national challenges to achieve our common aspirations of economic development.

MORE so we seize this chance to wish all our readers merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019.  Our avowal to all our readers next year is that they will be served with the best of content from the Today newspaper team.

THEREFORE, on this joyous occasion of the celebration of Christmas, Today extends its warm felicitations to all our cherished readers and the good people of Ghana.

AND as we make merry this festive season, Today urges all Ghanaians to do so in moderation and in love. More especially we call on road users to exercise caution while commuting on our roads.
