GPCC cautions Owusu Bempah

Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has called on the founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, to retract alleged false allegations he made against the Apostle General of Royal House Chapel International, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah.

The call comes after Owusu Bempah claimed Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah bleaches.

Sam Korankye Ankrah, who happens to be the 1st Vice President of GPPC, had earlier said men of God who bleach and flaunt their wealth on social media were fake.

Even though Korankye Ankrah did not mention names, his comment rattled the cage of Rev Owusu Bempah who also responded in equal measure.

Rev Owusu Bempah is also said to have alleged that Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah has concubines.

It is on the back of that the General Secretary of GPCC, Rev Emmanuel T. Barrigah, of the GPCC has called on Rev Owusu Bempah to retract the allegations raised against their vice president and apologise.

According to Barrigah, their own investigations as a council indicate that the entire allegation including the bleaching claims levelled against the Apostle General was a blatant falsehood.

“Those who know the Apostle General’s family know that 3 out of 4 children are fair so does it mean, the children of Sam Korankye Ankrah also inject or take tablets to be fair,” he stated.

Rev Emmanuel T. Barrigah believed that the accusation of sexual impropriety from Rev Owusu Bempah against Korankye Ankrah was a fabrication.

Barrigah hinted that they, as leaders of GPCC, can vouch for the sexual and moral integrity of Rev Ankrah and challenged Rev Owusu Bempah to name or produce many girlfriends he claims the Apostle General is keeping.

He, therefore, asked Rev Bempah to blame journalists and media houses that decided to post his picture alongside the Rev Korankye Ankrah’s teaching videos.

He added that they want to inform the general public that the allegations made against Rev Korankye Ankrah was false and therefore the Apostle General had no hands at all in those posts and publications.
