The Nkoranza South District Education directorate has promised, it’s outfit will see to the inadequate furniture problems being faced by schools under its jurisdiction by the end of the Academic Year.
The District Director of Education, Mr. Sulley Alhassan made this revelation to the press when the Nkoranza south Municipal Assembly in the Brong Ahafo Region donated some three hundred and ten (310) dual desk to Ghana Education Service (GES) branch in the Nkoranza municipality.
Speaking to the journalist after the donation,the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Diana Attaa Kusiwaa said the current NPP administration has good plans for the education sector.
Based on the unconformable furniture situations, the MCE decided to support the Education sector for Nkoranza south.
Evident of that decision, she (MCE) said the furniture now made available was to only twelve (12) basic schools.
In addition, the Education Director for Nkoranza south, Sulley Alhassan (Mr) said it could aid limit the problems of inadequate furniture in the schools under his jurisdiction.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Diana Attaa Kusiwaa and the Education Director for Nkoranza south advised the Headmasters/headmistress of the schools to practice good maintenance culture on furniture in order to prolong their lifespan.
