The kingmakers said they were surprised the extent to which media houses, which were invited to the cover the enstoolment of Nii Ayi-Bonte, to ascend the throne of the Gbese Royal Stool, still addressed him in their recent publications as Mr. Tommy Okine.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Today, the head of the Gbese Royal Stool Kingmakers, Nii Okai Kasablofo, described as false, widespread media reports that Nii Ayi-Bonte II was not the rightful claimant to the Gbese Stool.

He went on to cite the headline of the Crusading Guide news paper, that “Tommy Okine still not Gbese Mantse,” as a negative headline.
