Ricky Nana Agyeman, Manager of late reggae and dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, has revealed in an interview with Entertainment Today that his artiste dream was to have a clothing line.
Although, GTP has unveiled the official cloth for her funeral dubbed: [Aseda & Maame Hw3], Bullet said his artiste wanted to be different from others.
“Ebony had a dream and it was about her clothing line. She wanted to be different from other artistes when she was alive. The legacy of Ebony was to have a cloth, which can be bought by Ghanaians and even in her death she has accomplished that dream,” he told reporters.
He added: “We are doing this for Ebony Reigns. When she was alive, she was always with me.
She told me most of the things she wanted to do. She wanted to have ‘Ntoma Collections’ because all the other musicians had casual wears. So it’s like a dream come through,” he disclosed.
The unveiling of the cloth was held at the West Hills Mall last Saturday to officially outdoor the cloth for the funeral.
The clothes are named after her songs. ‘Maame Hwe’ comes in two types while ‘Aseda’ is black and white.
The final funeral rites and burial service for the late Ebony Reigns will be held on March 24, 2018 at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
