Dzifa Ibrahim files nomination to contest Amasaman NDC primaries

Madam Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim one of the six persons who picked nomination forms to contest the upcoming Parliamentary primaries on Thursday filed her nomination to contest the upcoming Parliamentary primaries of the Amasaman Constituency secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region.
Madam Dzifa Ibrahim filed for her candidature at the constituency party office in the company of party faithful’s, some residents and well-wishers.

Madam Dzifa Ibrahim who was the first person to pick a form was again the first aspirant to submit all the required documents and paid the necessary fees.

Speaking in an interview with the media after she submitted her forms, Madam Dzifa Ibrahim said she arrived at the decision to contest in the primaries after a thorough consultation with key stakeholders and the party grassroots who gave her the strong urge.

The affable, knowledgeable, attractable and likeable young lady coupled with her vast experience in politics and grassroots mobilization makes her the best among her contenders including the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP).

Mad. Dzifa Ibrahim also appealed to members of the umbrella family and supporters of the various candidates to refrain from lies, insults and mudslinging against any aspirant before, during and after the primaries.

According to her peddling falsehood, insults and mudslinging one another was a recipe to cause disunity in the party. This she noted will note help the course of the NDC to win the 2020 general elections no matter who wins the upcoming primaries.

“We should all be mindful that we are all from one big family which is the NDC, whether aspirants, constituency or branch executives or members. We don’t have to insult or fight among ourselves because of leadership. Fighting, insults and attacks will give our opponent (NPP) the chance to weaken the party and that won’t be good for us”. She reiterated.

“I have advised my followers and supporters to desist from any form of unhealthy politics because we are a big family. We must put the interest of the NDC first before our personal interests”, Mad. Dzifa Ibrahim advised.

She reiterated her commitment to strengthen party unity in the constituency and win back the hearts of those who have left the party for a resounding victory in election 2020.
