‘The Deal’ Reality Show Unveiled On Campus TV

A new reality show, ‘The Deal,” is set to hit the Ghanaian airwaves, come January 28, 2018.

The show, which is the first of its kind in the country, aims at grooming students from the various tertiary institutions across the country on business models, entrepreneurship among others.

According to organisers of the show, the selected 10 finalists would have the opportunity to explore their talents during their stay in the Deal House called Penthouse.

Speaking at the launch last Tuesday in Accra, Vice President, Business Development and Finance of Groupe Nduom (GN), a multinational conglomerate, Dr Nana Kweku Nduom, applauded the team for bringing out this innovative idea to support young entrepreneurs.


According to him, such initiatives would bring out the best talents and entrepreneurial ideas of students which hitherto would have been buried for life.


Dr Kweku Nduom revealed that the country needed business and entrepreneurial minded youth to move its economic fortunes forward.


He, therefore, called on the contestants to take their task in the house seriously to make the competition keen.


“This show is not about who wins the ultimate but rather how a better person you become after the end of the show. You are all winners already,” Dr Kweku Nduom told the finalists.

Dr Kweku Nduom, who doubles as the Management Team Chairman of the ‘DEAL’ reality show, added that “this whole idea would not have been successful if my team had not worked tirelessly.


Earlier, the Executive Director of the ‘Deal,’ Nene E. Amoako- Attah, explained that the reality show “holds a promise for increasing as well as creating additional 100s of more powerful business ideas and set-ups that will make significant contributions to revolutionising the business growth agenda of this nation.”


Head of Production- Content Vault, Ms Nathalie Anang, stated that two (2) teams will be created from the 10 contesting finalists to participate in challenges every week at selected companies within Groupe Nduom.

She announced that the winner of Session One will go home with GH¢25,000 as a start-up capital, a brand new saloon car, two laptops as well as a one-year mentoring programme.


The DEAL is competitive, challenging and intellectually engaging; it has as its long-term goal to become the leading platform for raising and shaping the next generation of business giants of Ghana and Africa; like the Nduoms, Dangotes, Yamsons and the rest.

The show will be aired live on Campus TV, a channel on First Digital decoder. The DEAL is an Nduom initiative.
