Hardly do we see Ghanaian artistes’ songs used as teaching material in tertiary school.
But this time around, the story has changed as rapper known in real life as Martin King Arthur’s song: “Confession,” was used as a teaching material for Level 200 students of KNUST.
Kwame Nkrumah Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Level 200 students are studying the literary device in “Confession” this semester.
Kofi Kinaata took to his Facebook page and wrote:
“Level 200 KNUST students are studying the literary devices in #Confession this semester (Poems For ENG-LIT 263). Big-ups to the lecturer.”
Kofi Kinaata released ‘Confession’ in December 2016 and it became an instant hit.
