Charterhouse Ghana, organisers of the Ghana Music Awards, want Patapaa to apologise for his comments suggesting he lost the ‘Song of the Year’ award because the company took money.
“If Patapaa has an evidence of us taking money from any nominee he should release else he should apologise to the board, academy and the general public for that comment,” Public Relations Officer of Charterhouse Ghana, George Quaye, said in an interview with ZionFelix.
“We will release the votes very soon so that we all will see how everybody performed on the night. It is a very unfortunate statement from him.”
In an interview with Joy FM, the ‘One Corner‘ act claimed he lost because the organisers took “stupid money” to hand the award to Fancy Gadam.
The visibly angry ‘One Corner’ act said patrons at the event venue even showed their displeasure when Fancy Gadam was named as the winner of the category.
