Black Queens meet Techiman chief

The Black Queens have arrived at Techiman to continue preparations and have met with the Koasehene and Mawerehene of Techiman Traditional Area, Nana Opoku Ofosu Gyeabour II, in his palace.

Ghana will host the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations to kick-off in November this year.

Nana Opoku is also owner of the great women’s soccer club—Ampem Dakoa Ladies.

The queens left the Ashanti Region on Saturday for Techiman after pitching temporal camp in Kumasi where they played and won two friendly games against Kumasi Soccer Academy Ladies (4-0) and a select side of Ashanti Region (2-0).

Bashiru Hayford and his team are preparing for this year’s Africa Women’s Cup of Nations to be hosted in Ghana.
