Head Pastor and General Overseer of the Royal House Chapel, Apostle Sam Korankye Ankrah, has received a citation from the chiefs and traditional leaders of Berekuso in the Eastern Region for his immense contribution to the Odeefour Oteng Korankye Educational Fund.
A delegation led by the Chief of Berekuso-Akuapem, Nana Oteng Korankye II, acknowledged the contributions of the Apostle General to the Odeefour II Educational Fund, saying “your seed money of GH¢20,000.00 to the fund has done a lot of good to the fund,” he said.
According to Nana Oteng Korankye II, their resolve to appreciate the Apostle General was because of what his contributions has done in the lives of many in the community.
He explained that the decision for the institution of the fund was because education in his jurisdiction was falling.
He further said many may have questioned the formation of an educational fund at the time that government had instituted free SHS but was quick to add that the fund has been able to buy some items needed by the students.
Part of the citation read: “Many walk in the path and live no footprints but your print on our way is gold dust stored in the dreads of our hearts. Your contributions to the Odeefo Education Fund can never be over emphasised.”
In his acceptance speech, Apostle Sam Korankye Ankrah said that one of the greatest things on earth was testimony of life that had affected many positively.
“That you turned a prisoner’s life to Christ, that a maid servant came to your house and had become a graduate or seamstress.”
He pledged the church’s continuous support to the fund and called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to help in their own small ways.
