Amasaman NDC clamor for Dzifa Ibrahim

The Amasaman constituency in the Greater Accra Region was thrown into ecstasy when news broke that Madam Marriam Dzifa Ibrahim has picked nomination forms to contest the Parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in August 2019.

According to some residents and party faithful’s this reporter spoke to said Madam Dzifa Ibrahim has over the years demonstrated her kind willingness to serve the good people of Amasaman, hence their joy when they heard that she has finally put herself up to lead the people.

To this end some constituency and branch executives have vowed to go all out to secure a landslide victory for her during the parliamentary primaries as well as the Parliamentary elections come 2020.

“We are more than convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that Madam Dzifa Ibrahim is the right person to serve the best interest of the people of Amasaman and its environs thus our collective decision to rally behind her to win the upcoming primaries and go on to win the main elections to represent us in parliament”. Mr. Comfort Owusu a resident of Amasaman Abease said.

They believed that Madam Dzifa Ibrahim stands tall among all her contenders and stands a far better chance to retain the seat no matter whomever the ruling party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) put up for the 2020 general elections.

However, some residents who do not belong to any of the two big parties i.e. NDC and NPP are therefore, calling on delegates not to allow themselves to be deceived or entice with material things to vote for persons who would not be around to attend to their plight.

Meanwhile signals picked from the constituency by our news team shows that Madam Dzifa Ibrahim appeared highly favoured by the party faithful’s in the upcoming parliamentary primaries being contested five other people including the incumbent Member of Parliament Mr. Emmanulel Nii Okia Laryea.
