Greater Accra regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, has presented items to the Tema Traditional Authority to support them in this year’s Homowo festival.
Presenting the items, he called on Gas to make sure there is peace during and after the celebrations.
He said there can be no development in a chaotic environment and this can be achieved by the people themselves.
He said as the regional minister, it was his duty to ensure that peace prevailed in Accra to enable government embark on development projects.
The items presented included 4 crates of soft drinks, 4crates of Guinness, 4 crates of beer, 2 boxes of foreign schnapps, 2 gallons of palm oil, two bags of corn and one thousand Ghana cedis to the traditional council.
Tema Mantse, Nii Adjei Krakue II, who received the items, thanked the minister for the gesture.
He also charged others to emulate his example.
