Afro-pop is gradually becoming the heartbeat of music in the country, with many artistes diverting into that music genre in recent years.
Ghana’s afro-pop has given birth to a new act, known as “Adepa,” in the music circles with her real name being Gloria Gyan.
She burst onto the music scene not long ago with her first single titled: “Condem” and gained recognition as a prodigy and has been touted to make waves in the near future.
In an interview, Adepa who signed onto the “1RMT” record label, is relishing taking dancehall and Afro-pop music to another level in the next coming years.
“I’m working towards my future of being one of the top superstars on the African continent.
“There are a couple of female artistes doing well in that space, but I am coming into the game with my own style,” she said.
She added, “Ghanaians should expect something different and I urge all music loving fans to support me and I would make Ghana proud someday.”
Adepa recently released her new single titled ”Holiday”.
