Adentan NDC extends olive branch to ‘aggrieved’ m’bers

Leadership of the Adentan Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended olive branch to its ‘aggrieved’ members who for some reasons have not been part of the party’s activities before, during and after the constituency primaries.

The extension of the olive branch was announced by the Adentan Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Baba Zakaria at a get-to-gather organised by the constituency executive committee.

 

The event which brought together the immediate past constituency executives, some opinion leaders from all the 12 electoral areas, some past branch executives and the 2016 Parliamentary Candidate, Mr Adamu Ramadam, according to the Chairman was to bridging the gap between the former executives, opinion leaders and the current leadership of the party.

Alhaji  Zakaria, explained that the gesture being extend to aggrieved persons of the great NDC is to bring every single individual onboard in their  (current executives) quest to recapture the lost parliamentary seat as well as ensuring a resounding victory for the party’s presidential candidate come 2020 general elections.

“As constituency executives, our target aim is to recapture power in 2020 and as things stand now, we need everybody onboard the moving train so as to achieve this aim.

“Recapturing of power in 2020 cannot be achieved by the current Constituency or Branch Executives alone; it will take our collective efforts to make this dream of recapturing power come 2020 a reality”. The NDC Constituency Chairman reiterated.

It is for this reason that we the current Constituency Executives are calling on all and sundry to come on board to make the NDC Adentan Constituency great and strong. With unity of purpose we can surmount any challenge and come up top. Alhaji Zakaria noted.

Speaking in an interview with Today, after the event, the Constituency Secretary, Mr Patrick Suantah maintained that the purpose for putting up the get-to-gather was achieved based on the number of personalities who honoured the invitation.

Mr Suantah explained further that bringing together past executives, and opinion leaders was to share their vast experiences with the current leadership as well as to map out strategies and plan for the task ahead of the party.

He also appealed to all members and non-members of the party to come onboard the NDC victory train. “Together as one we can overcome every obstacle no matter how big or small it looks”. The NDC Constituency Scribe hinted.
