ADA Foah District Police Command in the Greater Accra Region has commissioned a full-scale investigation into a move by a former worker of Ada East District Assembly (AEDA), Mr Samuel Daitey Zebulon Okudjeto, to allegedly forge documents to illegally secure the building permits for a developer of two plots of land located at Ada-Foah.
The investigation into the case, Today gathered, follows an official report lodged with the Ada Ada Foah District Police Command by the Ada East District Assembly.
The assembly stated in its statement of claim that Mr Okudjeto allegedly forged documents to illegally secure the building permits for the female land developer (name withheld).
These revelations came to light on Friday, August 23, 2019 when Today senior reporter visited Ada Foah District Police Command and Ada East District Assembly to verify the authenticity of the move of Mr Okudjeto to forge document to acquire building permit for the land developer.
Speaking in an interview with Today, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Assembly, Madam Sarah Dugbakie Pobee, and her Coordinator Director, Mr Saaka Dramani, confirmed the activities of Mr Okudjeto and added that the police were seriously investigating the issue to unravel the truth.
They indicated that the land developer was not the only victim of Mr Okudjeto.
They pointed out that there were series of reported cases against Mr Okudjeto including duping unsuspecting Ghanaians with the false pretext to helping them to secure building permits.
In order to substantiate their case, the DCE pulled out from her file of documents site plans on the two plots of land Mr Okudjeto submitted to the Public Works Department of Ada East District Assembly for the acquisition of building permits for the private land developer.
Consequently, Madam Pobee assured that her outfit will cooperate with the police in its investigations.
